We’re stoked to showcase Subhashini & Amit’s stunning Hindu wedding ceremony. The stage at the Vedic Cultural Centre in Markham was transformed into a regal gold mandap with rich fuchsia draping for the couple’s big day. Gold elephant statues and floating candles accented with rose petals all came together harmoniously for a spectacular backdrop.
Subhashini looked radiantly beautiful in her gorgeous fuchsia and gold lengha and Amit looked royal in a white sherwani. Surrounded by their close family and friends, the couple exchanged jai malas in front of their stunning mandap and partook in traditional Hindu ceremony rituals to become husband and wife.
After the ceremony, we were able to get some quick portraits of the newlyweds outside of the Vedic Cultural Centre. After several weekends of rain, we were blessed with perfectly sunny weather. When photographing bride and groom portraits, we love using natural light and blurring out the background to create a soft, romantic and whimsical look.
Subhashini & Amit, thank you for having us capture your exquisite wedding! It was an absolute pleasure capturing both your e-shoot and wedding. We wish you nothing but the best as you embark on your journey together as newlyweds!
