I had so much fun shooting Fanita & Israel’s wedding last weekend. We started the day with taking some timeless getting ready shots of Fanita as she got her makeup done and as her mother Jeanine joyfully tightened her daughter’s beautiful wedding dress. I also made sure to capture all the other getting ready details: wedding dress, shoes, bouquet, tiara and etc. I love capturing these detail shots as it tells the whole story of the wedding day.
Fanita and Israel’s wedding ceremony was held at their church in Mississauga – the Grace and Truth Message Tabernacle. After the wedding ceremony, we went to Chinguacousy Park in Brampton for their family, wedding party and bride & groom portraits. The entire wedding party was so much fun as they were more than willing to try different, fun poses.
Afterwards, we headed to the wedding reception, which was held at the Taj Banquet Hall in North York. The wedding reception’s theme was black and white, which look very elegant. Before the first dance, Fanita surprised Israel and the guests as she picked up the microphone and started singing a heartfelt love song – The One He Kept For me – to him. Her voice was magical! What a treat to all the guests!
