Toronto Chinese Wedding Photography | Ontario Science Centre | Diamond Banquet Hall | Emily & Michael

Emily & Michael’s stunning Chinese wedding was a memorably beautiful day filled with joy and laughter. We started the day at Emily’s home for Chinese wedding door games, where Michael and the groomsmen have to perform a series of tasks in order to see the bride. Emily’s bridesmaids planned several embarrassing tasks for the guys to do, and we couldn’t help but chuckle behind the camera as we captured the hilarious moments. After all the games were complete, Michael and Emily had a heartwarming first look.

After Chinese wedding tea ceremonies at Emily & Michael’s homes, we headed to the Ontario Science Centre in Toronto for the couple’s bride & groom photoshoot. This was the perfect location since Emily & Michael are both pharmacists. We love the shots inside the light-changing tunnel, it gave the photos a very futuristic, contemporary look. The cave was another amazing location, especially with the use of off-camera flash, which created a beautiful rim light behind the couple.

Emily & Michael’s wedding ceremony took place at Ontario Science Centre’s Telus room. It was a touching moment when Emily held back tears of joy as she walked down the aisle with her father. Instead of pouring sand for their unity ceremony, the couple poured clear liquids that turned pink when combined. A chemical reaction at the Science Centre, what a clever idea! After the ceremony, the couple celebrated their newlyweds status at Diamond Banquet Hall in Markham, laughing the night away with their close family and friends.

Emily & Michael, thank you for having us document your special day, we had a blast photographing your beautiful wedding. We wish you all the very best as you start your lives together as a newlywed couple!
